10. When I order American Apparel t-shirts why do I get a better pricing if I order at least 12 pieces per size?

12 pieces is our "minimum" quantity, but if you had a special job that required less garments we can do it ... knowing that it will cost a good amount more per garment than if you ordered our "minimum." We can do any size order, up the tens-of-thousands, and the more apparel you order at one time the cheaper the price gets ... get it? A standard order with Coed Monkey takes 1½ - 2 weeks from the time that we receive all of your order information. For embroidery the turnaround time is between 2-3 weeks. Rush orders are available upon request.

No. We try to make ordering custom apparel easy, so we can help you create the perfect artwork for your order. You can go through tohe order process and in the "Additional Info" field, just tell us what you want... then a Coed Monkey Order Representative will get in contact with you to start your order. For artwork, we will need the highest quality images that you can provide. We prefer either Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop files. These file extensions would be *AI or *PSD. We can accept EPS, PDF, TIFF, JPG, GIF or BMP files. For multi-colored images we might not be able to use TIFF, JPG, GIF or BMP files. For best print quality, please provide vector based artwork or images with 200 dpi or higher. If your artwork does not work, you can use our art department to recreate the artwork for you. (Refer to question 5).
Yes, we can match PMS/Pantone colors. You will just need to notify us that you would like specific Pantone colors or else we will use stock ink colors.
Definitely. You can always make your artwork look vintage by adding cracks to it yourself, but if you don't know how to do this, we can also do this to any artwork that you provide. Just let us know that you want it to look distressed and we can do it for you. We can also apply less ink to any garment so that the ink is thinner, with the feel of a well-worn shirt.
NOTHING. Whenever you work with Coed Monkey there are No Shipping Charges anywhere in the Continental United States. Orders outside of the Continental United States will be charged appropriate shipping- as quoted by Coed Monkey Order Representative prior to beginning the order.

When you order American Apparel t-shirts you will get the best price by ordering at least 12 pieces per size. We have to order from American Apparel directly and they give us a better price if we order this way, so we want to pass the savings to you. For instance, if you order 13 pieces you will obtain the better price, but if you order 11 pieces you will pay "single piece" pricing, which is about $2.00 more/t-shirt. 11. When/How do I pay?
Once Coed Monkey receives your order you will be required to let us know how you intend to pay.

- You can pay online with a Credit Card. You will receive your Coed Monkey invoice, then on the invoice link you can pay with a credit card.
- You can pay with a Check/PO from your university accounting department. You will need to provide us with the university PO number at the time that we accept the order.
- You can pay with a personal check. To pay with a personal check, we will need to get your credit card information as a holding account. At the completion of the order we will send you an invoice and you can send us a check in the mail.
Yes, any product that we offer on our website can be embroidered, but an embroidery order typically takes up to one week longer than a typical screen printing order.
Ok, this can be kinda tricky to explain, so follow us on this ... For us to embroider your artwork we need our embroidery machine to know how to embroidery your image. To do this, we need to make a computer program to tell the embroidery machine where to embroider the threads in relation to each other. We need to have a person called a "Digitizer" delicately make this program and then we can embroider your artwork. So, the digitizing fee is a one-time fee that pays for the Digitizer to make the computer program that will sew your image.
One of the worst things that can happen is for you to spend a lot of time creating a cool logo only to get your apparel and find out that the logo wasn't printed like you wanted it. To assure that this does not happen, when you work with Coed Monkey we will email you an Official Coed Monkey Art Proof to show you a visual representation of what your apparel will look like once your order is completed. Once we receive your artwork we will create your custom "Official Coed Monkey Art Proof" for you to approve before we do anything else on the order. The Coed Monkey Art Proof will show you the approximate dimensions of the artwork, the colors being used, placement etc. You simply will email us back ether an "ok" or let us know of any changes that you'd like to see made to the artwork. This is so we can assure your apparel makes heads turn.
Yes. If we can screen print or embroider the same design on a different garment we can "mix-and-match" the order. If you would like to "mix-and-match," please note this in your custom quote request in the "Additional Info" field of the order process and then we will get back to you asap with the quote on the "mix-and-match" order.
Yes, but don't worry about this in your quote request because we can take care of this when you actually place the order. Please note that you want to Mix-and-Match" in the Additional Info field of the order process.

Yes, but we will need to see your artwork to see if it will be a good fit for us to put our logo on your shirts. Our goal is to have your shirts look amazing, but if we just slap our Coed Monkey logo on the back or sleeve, it will often make the shirt look cluttered and not cool. We'd prefer it if there are other sponsors already on your shirts, so please contact us to discuss discounts.
On Time Delivery: We meet Deadlines. With a standard 7-10 Business Day order turnaround, you can be confident that your custom apparel will arrive on-time. Your Coed Monkey Order Representative will verify that we can meet the deadline that you specify in your order and if there are any foresee-able problems, you will be notified at the beginning of your order.
Each Coed Monkey Art Proof is made by an actual person to assure that we fully understand how to print your logo on the custom apparel. You will receive this Art Proof before we print anything and this will allow you to see what the logo will look like on the apparel as well as verifying that we have the correct ink colors, dimensions and placements for the logo.
