[Video] Sizing Help – Women’s vs. Unisex

One of the most difficult processes when ordering shirts for a group is finding the right sizes to appeal for both Men and Women.

Sizing help is one of the things we are asked for often. We have some tools available for you, but ultimately the best way to understand sizing differences is to see a visual (i.e – video below) or to have the garments in-hand for review.

When dealing with custom fitted t-shirts, we want to make sure you know that women’s sizes are going to be a lot smaller than the unisex counterpart. It’s typically at least a 2-size difference.

First and foremost, we recommend you refer to the size charts on our website. Use these dimensions to measure on yourself, and create a size breakdown.

In the video below that we made while still Coed Monkey, we compare two shirts in the same style – the 50/25/25 Triblend from American Apparel. Both of these shirts are the same size, with one being a Women’s style and the other Unisex. This visual helps point out the difference in height and width, collar size, and sleeve length.
